Forty Under 40: Brock Hoskins

Brock Hoskins, 32, has been vice president and manager of the Fayetteville office for Garver Engineers since March.

He had been with the company in its Little Rock office since receiving his master’s degree in engineering from the University of Texas at Austin in 1990.

The previous year, Hoskins earned a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Arkansas. He is a native of Joplin, Mo.

Hoskins received his professional registration as a civil engineer in Arkansas in 1994.

His primary experience is in planning, design, and construction contract administration for airport and street projects. Hoskins worked on various design projects for Little Rock National Airport.

Garver Engineers was founded in Little Rock in 1919 and today has offices in seven cities. The staff totals more than 160 employees, including civil, structural, environmental, electrical, mechanical and construction engineers; surveyors; engineering technicians; construction observers; and support personnel.

Garver is expanding and recently moved its Fayetteville office from downtown to a larger space in the northern part of the city.
