Two added to DFA leadership team

Jim Hudson, Secretary of the Arkansas Department of Finance and Administration (DFA), announced Tuesday (July 21) two additions to DFA’s leadership team.

Jessica Moore was named as State Budget Director. She will lead DFA’s Budget Division and work with departments across state government to administer all aspects of the budget.

She replaces Robert Brech, who is now the Executive Director of the Office of Professional Conduct. Moore has served as interim budget director since Brech’s departure.

Additionally, Tim Frith was appointed Director of the Arkansas Racing Commission, which oversees thoroughbred racing and casino gaming in the state. He replaces Smokey Campbell, who recently retired.

Moore has been with DFA since August 2017. She joined DFA from an engineering and consulting firm, GHD. Prior to the interim director role, she was assistant budget director for several years.

Frith was previously an attorney with the Wright, Lindsey Jennings Law Firm in Little Rock. He also worked in economic development on the local and state level.
