Early childhood conference slated at A-State
An upcoming conference will bring educators together for a learning, sharing and training opportunity. The 54th annual Early Childhood Education Conference, “Simple Experiences, Lasting Impact,” will be held at Red Wolf Convention Center, adjacent to Embassy Suites by Hilton on the Arkansas State University campus.
The conference will be Aug. 4 – 5, and will feature interest sessions that will be facilitated by teams of trainers.
“This event is for all staff working in early childhood settings, from early educators to program administrators,” said Libby James, program coordinator for the Arkansas Professional Development Registry. “We will have something for everyone, from brand-new staff to veterans and program leaders.”
James, who is a training coordinator in Childhood Services at A-State, said this conference is important for early educators to attend.
“Whether you work with infants and toddlers in a family child care home, or preschoolers in a classroom setting, or anything in between, this conference is for you,” James added.
This conference offers many experiences for attendees.
