Newmark Foods Expands Area Restaurant Holdings

Newmark Foods Inc. of Corrales, N.M., bought an acre of land in the Times Square development in Rogers for $488,333 on July 31. The deed was signed by Luther Black as president of Black Coral Investments Inc., a general partner in the Time Square Limited Partnership.

The purchase was financed with a $362,250 mortgage from the Bank of Arkansas in Fayetteville. The loan was signed by Robert Mott as president of Newmark Foods.

Newmark Foods has bought six Kentucky Fried Chicken restaurants in Benton and Washington counties since December and is building one in Fayetteville at 3010 N. College Ave. The company’s purchases have included restaurants in Fayetteville, Springdale, Siloam Springs, Bentonville and Rogers.
