First National Buys More Land For Branch

First National Bank & Trust Co. of Rogers bought more land in the Village on the Creeks development in Rogers on Aug. 21 for the branch the bank plans to build there.

First National Bank paid $297,000 for the extra land, which will provide access to the new branch and parking for customers. The deed was signed by Arnold Lehman as president of Village on the Creeks Inc. and Carmen Lehman as secretary.

In May, the bank bought three lots in the development for $650,000.The bank plans to build a three-story, full-service bank on the northeast corner of the development. Construction is scheduled to begin this fall and be complete by the middle of next year. Gary Jackson, an architect, is expected to occupy part of the new building.
