Stephens Opens Firm in South Carolina

Frank Thomas, a spokesman for Stephens Inc. of Little Rock, said his firm opened a private client office in Columbia S.C., on July 13.
“We’re excited to be there,” he said.
The five-member team are all people who have been doing business in that market, he said, but he didn’t know what firm or firms they may have left to join Stephens.
Stephens opened a five-person private client office in New Haven, Conn., on Jan. 12.
Stephens now has 13 such private client groups mainly across the South reaching to the Northeast, including groups in Fayetteville; Austin, Texas; New York City; and St. Petersburg, Fla.
