The Railroad Holdings LLC building at 119 E. Walnut St. in Rogers was refinanced Dec. 22 for $687,000 with Great Southern Bank of Springfield, Mo.
The two-story, 12,000-SF building houses Watson’s of Rogers, a restaurant and private club, and the Advertising Plus ad agency. Railroad Holdings officials who signed the loan include Dan J. Dykema, president/CEO Arkansas National Bank in Bentonville, Lisa G. Dykema and H. Collins Haynes.
The property was formerly owned by the Burlington Northern Railroad Co. and is one of the oldest buildings in Benton County. Originally constructed in 1885 as Rand’s Wholesale Grocery, the property is listed on the National Register of Historic Places by the U.S. Department of the Interior.
