Sharing the Wealth

An anonymous donor has given the Bentonville-Bella Vista Chamber of Commerce 4,682 shares of Wal-Mart Stores Inc., worth about $206,000, to keep as seed money for a new building. The 6,000- to 8,000-SF complex will be built across the street from the Chamber’s current location at 400 S. Main St.

The chamber is finalizing paperwork for a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation to receive additional funds for the project.
