Linda Darlene Wood

Linda Darlene Wood of Roland, Oklahoma, passed away Saturday, February 14, 2026, at Baptist Health Hospital in Fort Smith. She was born on December 9, 1959, in Hardin, Kentucky, to the late Rodney Allen Hayden and Lula Belle (McCubbins) Hayden. She was 66 years old. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Roger Wood; a son, John Getz; and three brothers, Terry Hayden, Rick Hayden and Sam Hayden.

Linda was a homemaker, a caregiver, loved the outdoors, and reading her Bible daily. She loved her family very much and will be missed by everyone who knew her.

She is survived by her children, Dara Lansdell and husband James of Fort Smith, Brandon Getz and Dakota Wood, both of Roland; three grandchildren, Heidi, Kaylee and Zach; and a great-grandson, Cooper.

Burial of cremains will be alongside her husband Roger at Mayberry Cemetery in Central City, Arkansas.
