Danny Duy Nguyen
Danny Duy Nguyen loved Jesus, and it showed in everything he did.
Born August 11, 1996 in Rogers, Arkansas, Danny was 29 years old when God called him home on June 21, 2026. He was a devoted member of the Vietnamese Gospel Baptist Church community, not just in attendance, but in heart and action. His faith wasn’t quiet; it was the engine behind his deep desire to encourage and inspire everyone around him with hope, love, and faith.
Danny was also a gifted creative. He channeled that gift into The Light, a Christian brand he built from his own vision, producing original music and visuals to point others toward Christ. It was pure Danny: taking something he loved and turning it into an offering for God and for people.
Outside of his creative work, he was a lover of anime, gaming, and the kind of stories, on screen and in books, that remind us what courage, loyalty, and friendship really look like. Those who knew Danny knew he carried that same warmth and joy into every room he walked into.
He earned his Bachelor of Business Administration from UAFS Fort Smith and worked as a bank teller, serving others with quiet dedication. But his greatest work was done through relationship, through showing up, through his church family, through being the kind of person who made you feel seen.
He is survived by his father, Tuan Van Nguyen; his sisters, Kimle Nguyen and Kim-Thoa Nguyen; his church family; and a wide circle of friends whose lives are forever marked by knowing him. He was preceded in death by his mother, That Thi Nguyen, whom he is now reunited with in the presence of the Lord.
“Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.” – Matthew 5:16
