Class of 2026 Alec Steele Senior Property Manager Cushman & Wakefield / Sage Partners, Rogers

Alec Steele joined Sage Partners because he knew it was a top commercial real estate firm in the state, and if he started there, he could learn and grow in the industry in which he’s always been interested.

“I’ve been really fortunate to be at Sage where I’m surrounded by a team with a lot of experience/knowledge and a culture that is very supportive,” he said. “I’ve learned a lot from the people around me, and that’s played a big role in my growth.”

Steele manages 850,000 square feet of commercial real estate in Northwest Arkansas. The largest ownership groups he works for include Orion Capital, Colby Capital and Sachs Companies, but he’s worked for others, including Hunt Ventures and Natural Capital.

He played a key role in coordinating and overseeing the sale of 12 office buildings totaling 283,044 square feet in the Pinnacle Hills area of Rogers. He also led the launch of a 45,692-square-foot medical office property, also in the Pinnacle Hills area.

Steele was raised in Oklahoma and Texas before moving to Greenbrier (Faulkner County) in the fifth grade. In 2018, he earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in innovation and entrepreneurship from the University of Central Arkansas. In college, he worked as a project manager for a roofing company, gaining experience in construction and facilities management.

After visiting Northwest Arkansas for a wedding, he and his wife fell in love with the area and moved here in 2020. Then, he was a manager at Target in Rogers.

In December 2021, he joined Sage Partners as an assistant property manager and was promoted to property manager within six months. He was named to his existing position in March 2025. In his role, he manages budgeting, financial reporting, maintenance oversight, and tenant relations across multiple property types while leading and mentoring a property management team.

“No two days are the same, managing 38 buildings and roughly 130 tenants,” he said. “It’s about being a problem-solver, staying organized, and delivering for both owners and tenants.”

He received the Sage Service Award in 2024 and recently became a minority owner in a commercial office portfolio.

He’s a member of the Building Owners and Managers Association Northwest Arkansas chapter. He enjoys spending time outdoors, riding dirt bikes and playing golf.
