Landon Lee Middleton was born in Fort Smith, Arkansas on March 26, 1982, to Kathy Fields Middleton and Art Middleton. He entered into life eternal on Saturday, June 28, 2025, at Mercy Hospital in Fort Smith. Art and Kathy raised Landon and his older brothers, Danon and Jared, in Lavaca and then settling in Greenwood. Landon was a 2000 Honor graduate of Greenwood High School where he was on the golf team and was an all conference basketball player….Mr Defense! In December of 2001 Landon fell in love and married the love of his life, Jessica Styles. From that day on they were a family and over the years welcomed 3 sons, Andrew, Alec and Ames and, last but certainly not least, they got their little girl, Amri. Landon loved having the opportunity to travel and live in different places with his family. They lived in Greenwood, Shawnee, Ok, Salt Lake City, Utah and Palm Bay,Florida, but Greenwood always called them home.

Landon was an entrepreneur in the field of internet marketing, eventually centering around the trucking industry. He was a natural. Landon’s outgoing personality helped develop a show ‘Truck Boss’. When not working Landon loved golf. He grew up playing at Vache Grasse in Greenwood. As a kid, he closed out most summer days challenging someone to a putting contest til the sun had set. Usually on the 3rd green and he would want you to know…he usually won. He loved playing with his dad. And, eventually had his entire family playing.

Landon loved his family…he loved his friends. Everyone that knew Landon was greeted with a hug! He was a hugger. And, Jesus…he loved Jesus. He accepted Jesus and was baptized at Greenwood United Methodist Church in 1990. Landon was known for being the hands and feet of Jesus, and was minister to the Homeless at Faith Cristian Outreach in Shawnee. He quietly helped people. He may have someone that needed help, living in his basement. There were times Landon would bring someone home to rake leaves so he could help them, and still make them feel good about themselves. Like all of us, Landon wasn’t perfect, but oh my goodness, he could spread light with just his smile. There were lots of hugs. Lots of ‘I love you’.

Landon was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Bill and Jerry Fields, paternal grandparents, Ralph and Dorothy Middleton and Jessica’s grandfather, Kenny Styles. He leaves behind to continue spreading light, his wife, Jessica; his sons, Andrew, Alec and Ames; daughter, Amri; his mother, Kathy Fields Middleton; father, Art Middleton and wife, Cathy; brothers, Danon and wife, Kim and Jared and wife, Cedar; mother-in-law, Tina Harp; brother-in-law, James and wife, Chelsey; father-in-law, Jim Styles and Memaw, Becky Styles. He also leaves many nieces and nephews, cousins, golf buddies, ministry partners and friends from Utah to Oklahoma to Florida to Greenwood.
