CHI St. Vincent, a regional health network serving central and southwest Arkansas, announced Tyler McDonald, MHA, BSN, RN, NE-BC, is the new Interim President of CHI St. Vincent Morrilton and Vice President of Central Arkansas Operations.

McDonald formerly served as Vice President of Patient Care Services at CHI St. Vincent Infirmary.

“I am honored to transition into this new role at CHI St. Vincent Morrilton, said McDonald. “Our hospital is a pillar of the Morrilton community, and the support that community has shown St. Vincent is a big reason I am looking forward to serving there. Together, I know that we can continue to improve the quality of healthcare for all people in Conway County.”

McDonald assumes the role of interim president following the departure of former President Angie Longing, who is now the President and CEO of Conway Regional Health System.

His concurrent role of Vice President of Central Arkansas Operations will have him oversee operations at St. Vincent Morrilton, as well as St. Vincent Infirmary and St. Vincent North for the Arkansas market.

“Tyler is a bright and capable leader who has already helped position St. Vincent at the forefront of healthcare in Arkansas,” said Market President William G. Jones, MD. “I am confident that Tyler will serve St. Vincent Morrilton well, and that his expertise will contribute to the success of our operations in Central Arkansas for years to come.”
