J.B. Hunt to pay 26-cents per share cash dividend

Lowell-based carrier J.B. Hunt Transport Services Inc. announced Monday (Oct. 14) it will pay a 26-cents per share cash dividend on Nov. 22 to shareholders of record as of Nov. 8.
This is the fourth consecutive quarter the carrier has paid a 26-cents per share dividend. The dividend announcement comes a day before the carrier is expected to report third-quarter earnings. J.B. Hunt plans to release the financial report for the period after the markets close Tuesday (Oct. 15). Earnings per share for the quarter are projected to fall, and revenue is expected to rise.
Shares of J.B. Hunt (NASDAQ: JBHT) were trading Monday afternoon at $109.51, down 84 cents, or 0.76%. In the past 52 weeks, the stock has ranged between $116.27 and $83.64.
