In a recent interview with Fourth District Congressional candidate James Lee Witt, he hinted that an ad run would begin shortly after the May 20th primary.

Witt is planning to launch a multi-week, web-based campaign starting Tuesday, May 20, that features former Pres. Bill Clinton touting Witt’s credentials.

Witt served as director of the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) under Clinton. The Witt campaign said the full ad will be active on the candidate’s web site on Tuesday morning, but you can catch a snippet here.

In the ad, Clinton says, Witt “is running to make a difference. And I guarantee you, he will.”

Witt will face the winner of the Tommy Moll-Bruce Westerman Republican primary. Also, Libertarian Ken Hamilton has qualified for the Fourth Congressional District race.
