Golden Living Adds 200 Jobs In Fort Smith
Golden Living is adding 200 new jobs at its Fort Smith administrative center – the former headquarters – bringing total employment in the region to approximately 875 people.
In addition, the company will make a multi-million dollar investment in building renovations and expansion to accommodate the new positions.
“We appreciate the generous support we have received from the State of Arkansas and the City of Fort Smith,” said Neil Kurtz, M.D., president and CEO of Golden Living. “We look forward to remaining an active and growing member of the Arkansas business community for years to come. The state has a very supportive economic climate and is a great place to do business.”
The creation of the new jobs in Fort Smith is part of a company-wide reorganization and centralization that was announced in early March when Golden Living said it would move its executives to Texas in order to capitalize on better travel facilities.
The company plans to begin hiring shortly and continue filling jobs over the next 24 months as the new positions become available.
