Arkansas Home Sales Fall 5.8% In February
Home sales in Arkansas fell 5.8% in February as Pulaski County home sales tumbled 18.3%.
The valuations of those home sales were down 4.3% during the month compared to one year ago.
Average home prices rose by 1.6% to $136,399, according to this report from the Arkansas Realtors Association.

Real estate analysts blamed February’s poor performance on a combination of snowy winter weather in Arkansas and the comparison to last year’s figures which included federal tax incentives for first-time homebuyers.
Year-to-date, home sales in Arkansas are up slightly less than one percent statewide. Average home prices are 0.6% higher at $138,657.
