Christopher Harbaugh loves a challenge. As director of sales for Mundo-Tech Inc., a manufacturer of fabricated tube assemblies for the aerospace, defense and other industries, he has tripled sales from $1 million to $3 million since 2007.

Harbaugh attended Northwest Arkansas Community College and Franciscan University of Steubenville, Ohio, receiving a degree in business management in 2006.

He has worked for Mundo-Tech Inc., which his father started in 1985, for 13 years. Before that, he spent his summers contributing in any way possible.

“It started in the garage of our home and I was always interested in what my father was doing,” Harbaugh said. “Being one of 13 children, it was not only an exciting thing for me to be involved in, but also a necessity to keep the work moving through the company.”
Harbaugh’s biggest achievement is diversifying the company to include military applications.

“It was a winning combination with our tube-bending and fabrication capabilities and their need to have the right support for their specialized armored vehicles,” he said.
Harbaugh’s goal is to increase the company’s sales by 25 percent in the next three years, spurred by a desire to solve clients’ toughest problems and create the best opportunities for his four children.
