Market research showed Fayetteville is ready for a custom hamburger experience, according to Restaurant Management Group managing partner Dave Godwin.

Thus, Godwin, who operated four MarketPlace Grill and MarketPlace Express restaurants, has converted one of them into Burger Life. The new enterprise is located on Joyce Blvd. in Fayetteville.

“All across America there is a clamor for premium burgers and we plan to bring a truly cutting-edge burger concept to the Northwest Arkansas market,” Godwin said in a press release.

Customers will choose from a selection of Angus beef burgers, turkey burgers, chicken breast or grilled tilapia, then pick either one of four artisan breads or two types of salad greens. Additionally, more than a dozen cheeses, 30 toppings and 20 sauces and dressings will be available.

The burgers and sandwiches will be served with chips for $5.99.

Burger Life also will sell beer and wine.
