Trimble named HMA hospital CEO of the year

Melody Trimble, CEO of Sparks Health System, has been named “CEO of the Year” by Health Management Associates.
The internal award recognizes hospital administrators within the HMA system who exemplify “leadership and operational excellence.” Trimble has been with Sparks Health System since Dec. 1, 2009, and is responsible for the day-to day operations. She was previously the CEO of an HMA hospital in Venice, Fla.
“Melody has been with Health Management Associates for 19 years and has consistently proven herself to be one of the best in the field. Melody lives up to Health Management Associates ideas and mission. Her outstanding performance and commitment to leadership resulted in excellent patient satisfaction scores, high quality care, and happy associates and physicians,” noted a statement from HMA Division President Britt Reynolds.
