Local Firms, Realtors Among State?s Best
Lindsey & Associates Inc. of Fayetteville was the largest real estate firm in Arkansas in 2002 according to rankings by Arkansas Business in its June 2 edition.
In fact, the top three firms in Arkansas were all from the northwest corner of the state. Following Lindsey’s $377.26 million in sales were Harris McHaney Realtors of Rogers with $240 million and Coldwell Banker Faucette Real Estate of Fayetteville with $226 million.
Five other Northwest Arkansas firms made the top 25 — No. 9 Re/Max Associates Inc. of Fayetteville ($113.2 million); No. 12 Bassett Mix & Associates Inc. of Fayetteville ($94.31 million); No. 14 Re/Max Real Estate Results of Bentonville ($74.92 million); No. 16 Griffin Company Realtors ($69.89 million); No. 19 Cooper Communities Inc. ($61.60 million).
Ward Jones Realtors Inc. of Siloam Springs came in at No. 33 with $36.61 million in sales.
Ron Calhoun & Associates Realtors of Fort Smith was No. 26 with $53.15 million, and Re/Max Unlimited Inc. of Harrison was No. 31 at $38.10 million.
Individually, 21 of the top 50 agents in Arkansas came from either Washington or Benton County. Lindsey’s Meza Harris was No. 2 with $35.6 million, trailing only Jeff Fuller of AgentOnLine.com Realty in Little Rock. Fuller had $54.53 million in sales.
Rick Hawes of Lowell’s Rainmaker Real Estate was No. 8 ($20.17 million), Margie Moldenhauer of Re/Max Associates was No. 9 ($19.91 million), David Mix of Bassett Mix & Associates was No. 13 ($18.32 million) and Teresa Sanderson of Coldwell Banker Faucette Real Estate was No. 15 ($17.66 million).
