Rogers Little Theater has completed a $1.7 million renovation of Victory Theater downtown.

Rogers Little Theater used a $560,075 loan from First National Bank of Rogers (now Arvest Bank) in May, as well as contributions, to help pay for the renovation. Victory Theater, at 116 S. 2nd St., was built in 1927.

The grand opening was Nov. 2. A new stage, lights and sound equipment are part of the new attraction.

The Victory Theater will also serve as a community building. Its dinner theater has a seating capacity of 150, and the balcony has an additional 150 seats. Meals will be catered.

Rogers Little Theater is in its 14th season, performing five productions to about 8,000 people annually.

Dinner tickets are $30 each, while balcony seats are $20. Performances are Thursday-Saturday from 8-10:30 p.m., with dinner beginning at 7. The Sunday matinee is from 2-4:30 p.m., with lunch served at 1. For ticket information, call the box offices at 501-631-8988.
