For Meza Harris, selling residential real estate has been about as simple as the first question by Regis Philbin on “Who Wants to be a Millionaire.”

rFor three consecutive years, the senior vice president of Lindsey & Associates in Rogers has topped Northwest Arkansas’ real estate agents in sales. She had $20.3 million in 1999 sales, up 41 percent from her area best $14.4 in 1998.

rHarris edged out members from other sectors of the real estate business in by getting more mentions as Rogers’ most prominent person in real estate. In what was without a doubt the tightest of our races, Harris was challenged fiercely by fellow Lindsey agent Bill McClard, who specializes in commercial real estate, and a host of developers in the Rogers community.

rHarris, who did $6.5 million in sales more than the second-place Northwest Arkansas agent, said the addition of two assistants has made her job even easier. And 2000 promises to be another big year for the Bentonville native.

r”It’s been unbelievable,” Harris said.

rMcClard, a former Razorback and also a senior vice president at Lindsey, was said by one of our panelists to have “strong national contacts.”
