~ Dennis E. Turner of the Army Corps of Engineers has been named a Federal Employee of the Year by the Federal Executive Association of Northwest Arkansas. Turner is a civil engineering technician for the Corps’ Upper White River Project Office and is a team leader in the contract operations and maintenance section for Beaver and Table Rock lakes. He directs the annual $1.5 million contracting budget for the reception areas and project offices for that area including 26 parks.

Turner is also an active volunteer for the Pea Ridge School district and works with community youth. In the past, he has served as a volunteer firefighter and emergency medical technician.

~ Greg Spencer recently purchased McCamey Real Estate Company in Springdale. He has more than 25 years of real estate experience and will now serve as principal broker for the firm.

~ George Nunnally Chevrolet was recently honored with Chevrolet Tulsa District’s highest sales honors for the period of April to July 1998. Nunnally achieved 143 percent of the objective for that period.

~ Coldwell Banker Arka-Vista Realty was named one of the top five Coldwell Banker offices in the state of Arkansas. The ranking is based on buyer controlled sales, closed revenue units and listings sold in the state during the second quarter of 1998.

Darleen Olson of Coldwell Banker Arka-Vista Realty has achieved the Graduate Realtors Institute designation by the Arkansas Realtors Association. Olson has been a licensedRealtor since 1997.
