Chamber to Miss Carroll
The Fayetteville Chamber of Commerce is losing one of its most ardent and energetic employees. Melissa Carroll, assistant to the chamber president for the past eight years, says she’ll leave in November, take the month of December off and then vacation in Puerto Rico in January.
Carroll, who’s often among the first to arrive and the last to leave at chamber functions, says she’s planning to spend more time with her family. She expects to eventually end up with a part-time job somewhere but, at least for a while, one that’s considerably less hectic than chamber work.
