Ozark Guidance Center Inc. of Springdale is using a $420,000 loan from Arkansas State Bank of Siloam Springs to build a new facility in that town.

The construction loan was issued July 1 and was signed by David Williams as president of Ozark Guidance Center and Diane Shaw as secretary of the organization.

The non-profit organization has started construction of a 2,700-SF building at 610 Holly St. in Siloam Springs. The new facility will replace the 1,000 SF the organization has been leasing for the past two years in the Spring Creek Village shopping center at 1270B U.S. Highway 412.

Work started on the building in early August and is scheduled for completion in December. Ozark Guidance has provided its services in Siloam Springs for 20 years. The organization also is building a similar facility in Berryville.

Ozark Guidance has been in existence for 28 years and provides counseling and educational services to about 11,000 people each year.
