More Openings

Competition is still building, with several area banks celebrating new branches and other occasions. Among the recent openings is Bank of Arkansas’s expansion into Springdale. The bank, which also recently changed its name from Citizens Bank, opened a branch at Signature Square, a new development near the intersection of U.S. Highway 412 and Arkansas Highway 265.

First Federal Bank marked the opening of another Fayetteville branch at 2025 N. Crossover Road and expects to open a Farmington branch later this year. Arkansas National Bank celebrated with a “special grand anniversary” to mark its first year in Springdale at 3924 Elm Springs Road. And Bank of Fayetteville is marking its 10th anniversary.
