Springhill Farms LLC of Elkins bought a 3,288-SF office building in Colt Square on May 5 for $252,000 ($76.64 per SF).
The purchase was financed with a $245,000 mortgage from McIlroy Bank & Trust of Fayetteville.
William C. Pritchard and his wife, Karen, signed the mortgage for Springhill Farms. They bought the land and building from Gregory Kent Smith, who acquired the land and two buildings Jan. 24, 1995, from SWARE Limited Partnership. Smith retained ownership of a 3,387-SF building at 64 W. Colt Square, which is on the same lot.
The Pritchards have opened New Century Marketing, an advertising agency, in the office building.
