Garner Junior Stovall, who resided near Subiaco, Arkansas, died Friday, June 19, 2026, at his home. He was born on July 17, 1951, in Sikeston, Missouri, to the late Hays Garner Stovall and Dovie Mae (Ferguson) Stovall. He was 74 years old. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 40 years, Carol J. (Smith) Stovall; a daughter, Tina Parr; a brother, Tom Stovall; and a sister, Betty Atchley.

Junior was a retired truck driver for River Valley (Tyson Animal Food) near Scranton and was an U.S. Army Vietnam War veteran. Junior enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and family cookouts. He was loved by his family and will be missed by all who knew him.

Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, June 26th at Brotherton Funeral Home Chapel in Paris. Cremation will follow after the funeral service.

He is survived by two daughters, Tammy Valentine and husband Don and Teresa Wisneski and husband Randy, all of Paris; a son, Tommy Jacks and wife Traci of Paris; three sisters, Hazel Vidrine and husband Ray of Waldron, Joyce Miner of Y-City, and Bobbie Gilchrist and husband James of Pearcy; three brothers, Albert Stovall and wife Norma of Mena, Allen Stovall and wife Rose of Boles, and Walter Stovall and wife Cindy of Royal; seven grandchildren, Dylan Parr, Tatum Tabler, Preston Tabler, Andrea Parr, Amy Gregory, Mary Clayton, and Rhea Jacks; and eight great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers are Dylan Parr, Preston Tabler, Tommy Jacks, Randy Wisneski, Don Valentine, and Rhea Jacks.

The family will visit with friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home in Paris.

All services are under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home in Paris.
