Longhorn Saloon Presents: Woodshed

Woodshed is a high energy country music band from the banks of the Arkansas River, Fort Smith to be exact. The group is made up of four members who each contribute a unique element to the music. Influencing the shape of the groups own special sound include artists such as Garth Brooks, Merle Haggard, Waylon Jennings, Brad Paisley, Alabama, Hank Williams Jr., Lynyrd Skynyrd, and Bob Seger.
 
While many bands in the area played the blues or rock and roll, Woodshed has remained true to their country roots and authentic cowboy image with a fun modern twist. Their songs tend to capture audiences with pure emotion and everyday events of life. They range from driving country, to power ballads, and even some down-home foot-stompin "Maw and Paw" kind of tunes that get the fans up and dancing.
 
Woodshed is especially known for their entertaining live performance. Their consistent draw at shows has caught the attention of big events, popular venues and radio stations. Recently they were voted to perform at “Thunder On The Mountain” as part of an impressive lineup that included major name acts in Country Music.
