Linda L. Real

Linda L. Real, 78, of Fort Smith, AR passed away on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, in Fort Smith, AR. She was born on January 16, 1947, in Fort Smith, AR to the late Howard C. and Ida Utanah (Workman) Boman. She was also preceded in death by her sister Judy Boman. Linda was a Registered Nurse for many years at Sparks Regional Medical Center as well as several other venues. She was instrumental in the launching of The Heart Mobile program which served the River Valley. She was an active charter member of Living Faith Missionary Baptist Church.

Funeral services are 11:30am, Monday, December 8, 2025, at Living Faith Missionary Baptist Church and officiated by Robert Kelly. Bill Driggers will speak at the burial to follow at the U.S. National Cemetery under the direction of Ocker-Putman Funeral Home in Fort Smith, AR.

She is survived by her husband of 58 years, James Real; two sons, Sean Real and his wife Telene of Georgia and Mike Real and his wife Melissa of Fort Smith; a daughter, Sherri Pannell and her husband Sean of Alma, AR; 11 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren, as well as her sister Sue Christian of Fort Smith and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Bobby Stone, Sean Pannell, Mike McClure, Sam Edgar, Dan Pearson, and Roger Real. Honorary pallbearer is Ben Robertson.
