Governor makes appointments to boards and commissions
Dr. Terisa Riley, chancellor of the University of Arkansas at Fort Smith, was one of seven appointed by Gov. Sarah Sanders to the Criminal Justice Institute Advisory Board. The advisory board appointments were among numerous the governor announced Tuesday (June 9).
“As a former law enforcement professional, I recognize how critical the Criminal Justice Institute is for creating and offering training that is steeped in best practices and theory to ensure officer safety,” Riley said in a statement. “Our schools and universities depend on the knowledge training offered through this world-class Institute.”
