Angela Elizabeth Membreno-Martinez, age 44, passed away on May 17, 2026, in Fort Smith Arkansas. She was born May 25, 1981 in Mena, Arkansas, to Jerry Ray Hammerton and Barbara Anne Patterson (Roach).
Angela had a deep love for all animals, especially her horse, Luna, and her beloved dog, Teko. In her free time, she enjoyed drawing and listening to music, finding peace and joy in the things she loved most. More than anything, Angela cherished her family. She was not only a devoted mother, but also a best friend to her children, and she loved her grandchildren with a selfless and unwavering heart.
Angela is survived by her mother, Barbara Anne Patterson (Roach); her husband, Juan Membreno-Martinez; her three beloved children, Diana Hammerton, Kelly Bateman and husband Kirk Spencer, Edward Bateman; as well as four cherished grandchildren, Chelsea, Kyler, Ainsley, and KJ.
She is preceded in passing by her father, Jerry Ray Hammerton.
Angela’s family will host a private memorial service at a later date. Cremation is under the thoughtful care of Lewis Funeral Chapel.
