William Patrick Horibin III

William Patrick Horibin III, of Alma, Arkansas, passed away on Friday, January 23, 2026, at his home. He was born on May 29, 1966, in Rhode Island to William Horibin and Linda Pool.

William is survived by his daughter, Melissa Kelly; his son, William Kelly; his brother, Tim Pool and wife Nicole; and his nephew, Elias, all of Alma. William shared a close-knit life with his brother, sister-in-law, and nephew, living together on their eight-acre property with a pond and a flock of chickens. After years of city life in North Carolina, he found contentment and peace in the quiet countryside.

William found joy in life’s simple moments. He especially loved sitting on his porch, watching his cats, and taking in the beauty of the natural world around him. He and his brother Tim spent countless hours exploring the National Forest together on their side-by-side, making memories along the way. William was a one-of-a-kind character, always ready with a joke or a funny story, and his sense of humor brought laughter to those fortunate enough to know him.

He will be deeply missed by his family and friends and lovingly remembered for his warmth, wit, and appreciation for the quiet beauty of life.
