Nancy Sharon (Hocott) Nauert

Nancy Sharon Nauert, 83, of Greenwood, Arkansas passed away Tuesday, June 3, 2025 in Fort Smith. She was born February 26, 1942 in Fort Smith, Arkansas to Guy and Gene (Richardson) Hocott. She was retired from Greenwood Dental Clinic and Basham Agency, member of the Vache Grasse Ladies Golf Association and Greenwood First Baptist Church.

Nancy was a kind, intelligent, fiercely loving mother that left her family with a legacy of love and a giving spirit that will never be surpassed. Her family had the pleasure of honoring her the last few weeks of her life and will continue to strive to be people she would be proud of.

She is survived by her husband, Clinton Nauert; one son, Steve Nauert and wife, Gina of Rockwall, TX; one daughter, Sharon Cabe and husband, Greg of Greenwood; two brothers, Rod Hocott and wife, Gail of Little Rock and Dr. Blake Hocott and wife, Debbie of Fort Smith; five grandchildren, Garron Cabe and wife, Aubren, Leyton Cabe and wife, Hannah, Quincy Nauert, Cameron Nauert and Vivienne Nauert and three great grandchildren, Kellyn, Everett and Hagen Cabe.

Funeral service will be 2 p.m., Friday, June 6 at McConnell Funeral Home Chapel in Greenwood with burial at Liberty Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be Thursday from 5 – 7 p.m. at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Steve Nauert, Quincy Nauert, Greg Cabe, Garron Cabe, Leyton Cabe, Max Hocott, Chandler Williams and Josh Bell.
