Coach Jim Funderburg

Coach Jim Funderburg, age 75, passed away on June 2, 2025, in Alma, Arkansas. He was a beloved coach and mentor to many young athletes in the community. Jim is survived by his wife, Mary Funderburg, and their three children: Sarah, Michael, and Jessica. He was known for his dedication to his family and his passion for sports. A memorial service will be held on June 5, 2025, at 2 PM at the Alma Community Center, followed by a reception. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Alma Youth Sports Program.
