Betty Sue Bonewell

Betty Sue Bonewell, 88, of Rudy, AR passed away peacefully on Thursday June 26, 2025 in Van Buren. She was born on June 5, 1937 to the late William and Nola (Cowell) Boykin in Lutherville, AR. She was a long time chicken farmer and rancher beside her husband Donald. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Donald Bonewell; two brothers, Blondel and Donald Boykin; two sisters, Reba Lamb and Mae McCurdy.

Funeral service will be 11 A.M. Wednesday July 2, 2025 at Ocker Memorial Chapel with burial to follow at Gracelawn Cemetery under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren.

Betty is survived by her sons, Ronald Bonewell and wife Robbie, Rodney Bonewell and wife Amy all of Rudy; four grandchildren, Rowdy Bonewell and wife Brittney, Ridge Bonewell and wife Karli, Sawyer Bonewell, and Moxie Bonewell; One great-grandchild, Rylen Bonewell; her extended family, Patti and Aspen Stroud.

The family will visit with relatives and friends from 5-7 P.M. on Tuesday July 1, 2025 at the funeral home, 700 Jefferson St.
