Vella Evelyn Stewart

Vella Evelyn Stewart, 92, of Van Buren, Arkansas passed away Monday, May 5, 2025 in Fort Smith. She was retired after 21 years from the Western Arkansas Guidance Center, a homemaker and member of Grand Avenue Baptist Church.

Vella was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Stewart and a son, Bryan Stewart. She is survived by two sons, Keith Stewart and Nelson Stewart and three grandchildren, Brandon, Megan and Aaron.

Cremation is under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home of Greenwood. Vella will be interred by her husband at Liberty Cemetery.
