Helen Blanton

Helen Blanton, age 85, of Fort Smith, passed away on April 27, 2025. She was born on March 15, 1940, in Fort Smith, Arkansas. Helen was a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend. She is survived by her two children, John Blanton and Mary Smith, and four grandchildren, Emily, Sarah, Jacob, and Lily. Helen was known for her kindness and generosity, always putting others before herself. A memorial service will be held on May 1, 2025, at 2 PM at Ocker-Putman Funeral Home, followed by a reception at her home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Fort Smith Animal Shelter in her memory.
