Caliber Collision transaction top Sebastian County property deal in November

The $5.335 million sale of a new collision repair business in Fort Smith was the top Sebastian County property deal in Sebastian County in November, according to information from the office of Sebastian County Assessor Zach Johnson.

Cross Development sold Caliber Collision at 6600 S. 31st St., in Fort Smith was sold to 175 Executive House LLC, which is managed by Roseland, N.J.-based Murnick Real Estate Services. The deal on the recently opened operation closed Nov. 21. Murnick is focused on real estate development, management, and acquisitions/dispositions.

Founded in 1997, Caliber Collision has more than 1,700 centers in 41 U.S. states with more than 27,000 employees.

The City of Fort Smith in November also closed the deal on a former restaurant property at 4501 Burrough Road in south Fort Smith. The property will be used for a Fort Smith Police Department precinct station. The property sold for $575,000 and closed Nov. 16.

The top 10 Sebastian County property deals in November had a combined deal value of $10.173 million.

The largest deal so far in 2023 is the $5.7 million sale of Southbrooke apartments on 8201 U.S. 271 S., in Fort Smith. The complex was sold by Dallas-based FS Southbrooke to Fort Smith-based Southbrooke Fort Smith in deal that closed April 6. The new owners plans to renovate the 129-unit apartment complex.

A $20.387 million sale of the new Veterans Affairs Clinic in Fort Smith and associated property was the largest Sebastian County property deal in 2022. The deal closed Sept. 8. The 49,500-square-foot VA Clinic, located at 5700 Phoenix Ave., was completed in early 2021, with the building permit valued at $15.7 million.
