Hand Building in Clay: Art and Nature Workshop

Discover the rich world of Hand Building in Clay during the Art and Nature Workshop on Feb. 20-21 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Illinois River Watershed Learning Center, 221 S. Main St. in Cave Springs. Instructor Becky Christenson, the 2015 IRWP Artist-in-Residence, incorporates nature into the workshop, teaching a variety of clay hand-building techniques at the individual level. Participants will each complete 4-5 pieces of clay art. Cost of the workshop is $25. It is open to people of all skill levels, aged 18 and older.
