Boys & Girls Club of Van Buren presents inaugural Great Futures Gala

The Boys and Girls Club of Van Buren invites the community and Club supporters to "Save the Date" for its inaugural "Great Futures Gala" on September 27. The first fundraiser of its kind for the organization, the "Fiesta for the Future" themed event will feature delicious food and drink, music and entertainment, and a premier live auction. The outdoor celebration will be held at the home of Jeremy and Stephanie Riffle. Located in Van Buren's Scott Farm, the picturesque property will set the stage for a fun evening of dinner and dancing.
Individual tickets are $60 and include dinner, adult beverages, and a bid number. Sponsorship opportunities are also available.
All proceeds from the gala will benefit the Boys and Girls Club of Van Buren, whose mission is "to enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens." The Club offers after school, summer, and sports programs, averaging more than 200 students on a daily basis. BGCVB also serves nutritious meals and snacks each day, and sponsors a number of self-esteem and academic programs designed to build confidence and instill values in members, such as SMART Girls and Passport to Manhood.
