Stampede Transportation, LLC, a Little Rock-based bulk fuel transportation and logistics company founded in 1999, is merging with American Energy Transport, LLC, a fuel transportation provider based in Dallas, Texas.

Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

The merger will significantly expand the regional footprint for parent company AET Holdings, LLC. The two subsidiaries will now provide transportation services throughout Texas, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Tennessee, Georgia and Mississippi.

Stampede has carved out a niche in the petroleum transportation sector.

“We see significant synergies between the two entities that make this an ideal fit. It is our goal to provide a greater amount of resources in the currently operating areas in an effort to better serve these markets,” said Shawn Bhagat, Chairman of AET Holdings.

“This change will be beneficial to our customers, suppliers and business partners,” Stampede Managing Partner Jeff Johnson said. “We are excited for this merger to be completed, as it will allow us to provide technological and operational enhancements and an expanded geographic area. There will absolutely be no service disruptions during this transaction, and we are pleased that the team here at Stampede will continue to manage the operations.”

AET Holdings is expected to announce multiple mergers and acquisitions in the months ahead as they continue along their growth plan.
