Ua Board Approves $135 Million Bond Program

The University of Arkansas board of trustees approved a series of bond projects worth $135 million at its meeting in Monticello.

The projects included:

  • $25 million football operations center
  • $32.8 million Vol Walker Hall renovation
  • $27 million Ozark Hall addition and renovation
  • $20 million in remodeling projects for 5 dormitories

The board is also moving through a process to search for a successor to retiring UA System President B. Alan Sugg. New board chairman Carl Johnson will lead the search, which could continue for some time.
