MNB Plans Phase II

Metropolitan National Bank has been aggressive with its expansion into Benton and Washington counties, opening 12 locations. But that was just Phase I.
Wyley Elliot, Metropolitan’s Northwest Arkansas president, said plans are under way for Phase II. That will include four to six more branches to be built later this year.
He said some locations are being sought, some pending and some already known. He guarded exact locations, but did say that Bella Vista will be “nearby and neighborly.”
Last fall, Lunsford Bridges, CEO for Metropolitan, said he thought Lowell would be a good location.
