Mullikin Agency Blown from House
Winds that swept through Northwest Arkansas on the evening of Sept. 22 blew most of the roof off a house on U.S. Highway 412 that was home to the Mullikin Agency of Springdale.
The agency lost some equipment, including computers, and immediately had to relocate to a temporary office.
President Randy Mullikin said the damage was so severe, the house was basically “condemned” and it would not be occupied again by his business.
Mullikin owned the building for six years, but had sold it to Steve Smith Country, a General Motors dealership adjacent to the property.
The agency occupied about 4,000 SF in the house Mullikin said, and has been crammed into about 1,200 SF for about a month. But the firm is moving into a permanent office off Sunset Avenue (behind the iconic Susan’s Restaurant) in Springdale the last week of October.
The Mullikin Agency is a full-service advertising agency and employs seven people.
