DB Gettin? Squared Away
Fayetteville software firm, DB Squared is “continuing to do well” since launching its Job Evaluation and Salary Administration Program (JESAP) in June.
President and CEO Mike Gibbs said the firm didn’t quite meet its 2005 sales projections of $250,000 but that things look good for 2006. (Gibbs told the Business Journal last year that the company hoped to do $1 million in 2006.)
JESAP is a human resources software suite that gives a ratings system for a company to internally evaluate each job. It takes into account a market comparison of up to eight competitors or like companies and automatically crunches the numbers through a set of weighted values. It then outputs an ideal pay scale for any one given job.
So far, the firm has officially signed on clients J.B. Hunt Transport Services Inc. of Lowell, the Walton Arts Center in Fayetteville and Garland County’s government offices, among others.
DB Squared execs have done demonstration seminars in Little Rock and Dallas, and will do more around the country, Gibbs said.
