TrestleTree Inc. Branches Out
TrestleTree Inc., the Fayetteville health care firm, has “graduated” from the Genesis Technology Incubator, consolidated its offices into one corporate facility and moved into about 4,500 SF of temporary lease space on Springdale’s Thompson Avenue.
Genesis, housed at the University of Arkansas’ Engineering Research Center, provides low-cost space for qualified startup firms to develop in a supportive university environment.
TrestleTree’s future headquarters will be a 9,000-SF building that Ben Isreal’s Dixie Construction LLC plans to complete by June at Fayetteville’s Joyce Business Park. The $750,000 future digs on Joyce Boulevard will give TrestleTree room to house its corporate staff — which has grown from four to 25 in Fayetteville since merging its Indianapolis office into one entity.
In August, TrestleTree contracted with the state of Arkansas to provide a pilot program for 12,000 state employees and landed a deal with diversified conglomerate W.C. Bradley Co. of Columbus, Ga., an employer of thousands and maker of everything from Char-Broil gas grills to Zebco fishing rods.
TrestleTree, which uses Webcam conferencing to connect chronically ill patients with “personal health coaches,” provides its services for a participation-based fee. The firm started in 2000 and has received $2.7 million in “angel” and venture capital funding.
