Morning News Promotes Sissom

The Morning News announced on July 1 that Thomas Sissom will become the newspaper’s new editorial-page editor.
Sissom has worked for The Morning News for the past 11 years. He has served since 2001 as the newspaper’s Springdale metro editor.
Rusty Turner, editor of The Morning News, said Sissom will begin working as editorial-page editor as soon as the newspaper finds a replacement for him as Springdale metro editor.
Before joining The Morning News, Sissom worked for the Pine Bluff Commercial, the Arkansas Democrat and the Northwest Arkansas Times in Fayetteville.
