Stephen and Rexanne Mansfield have purchased two longtime Fayetteville apartment complexes from Joe Fred Starr for just under $10 million.
The Mansfields bought the 196-unit Tara Apartments North, formerly the Chateau Apartments, on Leverett Avenue. They got a $5.83 million loan from Arkansas National Bank of Fayetteville on Jan. 31 for that project, which will be renamed North Creekside Apartments.
On Feb. 2, the Mansfields secured a $4.03 million loan from First Federal Bank of Arkansas in Harrison to purchase the 138-unit Tara Apartments South. Those will be renamed South Creekside Apartments.
Mansfield Property Management will run both complexes. Stephen Mansfield said there would be “major renovations’ done to each complex.
